A position paper is a breakdown of your country's position on the given topics. Writing a position paper will help you organise your ideas so that you can share your country’s position with the rest of the committee. Position papers help significantly to organise your research and prepare your speeches.
The deadline for submitting your position paper is 10 days before the conference (11th February). Your position paper need only be a page long and must include your country's position on all the topics to be discussed within your committee.
To submit your position paper, you must email it to the chair of your commission at BIGMUN 2013, their name and email address can be found on the Student Officer Team page, found here.

Your position paper does not need to include all of these aspects as it is often hard to find specific information concerning some topics and a country's position. These are merely suggestions as to what you can research and place in your position paper in order to be adequately prepared for the conference and debate.
