Getting to BIGMUN
Birkerød Gymnasium, the school that will serve as the venue for BIGMUN 2021, lies in the calm suburbs of Copenhagen.
The Opening Ceremony
For the opening ceremony, all delegations will have to make their own way to the school. For delegations travelling by plane, we re-commend that you take the metro from the airport to Nørreport St., where you can transfer to the S-train, which will take you directly to Birkerød Station. The journey from Copenhagen Airport to Birkerød St. takes approximately 50 minutes.
BIGMUN Bus Service
Delegations staying in hotels/hostels in Copenhagen can pay our Transport Fee and use our BIGMUN Bus Service. With the excep-tion of the journey from the airport to the Gymnasium for the open-ing ceremony, the buses will take delegations between Central Copenhagen and Birkerød Gymnasium in the morning and after the conference day ends. Alternatively, individuals can buy an €80 City Pass Large, from DSB, who provides the train services in Denmark. For further information on public transport costs in the Copenhagen area, please consult DSB's website here.

Staff members will be present at Birkerød St. to guide you to the Gymnasium, which is just a short walking distance away. Please note that the price of a single fare from the airport to Birkerød St. is 84 Danish Kroner for individuals aged 16 and above, and 42 Danish Kroner for individuals aged 15.
