Student Officers
The work of a Student Officer, also know as SOs, is one that involves great responsibility. The position as a chair, co-chair, president or vice-president is given based on your previous experience, qualifications.
With this position follows a lot of trust, responsibility, and the chance to grow as a leader and individual. Your delegates will look to you for guidance and for some, you will serve as a role model. Student Officers are in charge of conducting and supervising the debates and conversations in their assigned council or committee.
Therefore, remember to be professional, kind, and open throughout the conference – you will be representing us!
Furthermore, prior to the conference, Student Officers must write research reports on the topics to be debated in their council or committee. You can reference our guide as provided above.
